Time Shares Empty Time Shares

Anybody brought a timeshare in another state/country? Has anyone thought about doing it? Any pros aand cons? Did the timeshare presentations before and they sounded good but somewhat hesitant about stuff like that. What are your views on timeshares?

I suggest not letting them persuade you into buying if you are not going to use it.
